Week 1 MVP Hopefuls


Each week we'll post the top 5 MVP Contenders. This since we only have 1 week to go off of, you may see a lot of change to this list in the first few weeks. Here are the top 10:

1. J. Sniper -QB -Assassins: 13-17 for 468 yards and 6 touchdowns. In week 1 he set CMFA current records for yards and touchdowns. Hard not to put him at #1.

2. Jafar Armstrong - RB - Warhawks: Another record setter early in the season. Jafar proved he can do it all, posting 223 yards rushing and 213 yards receiving while leading all non-QBs with 4 touchdowns.

3. Joel Blue - DT - Minutemen: Blue turned in an impressive defensive performance in week 1...6 total tackles and 2 sacks - both currently lead the league.

4. Ronnie Lawson - RB - Rhinos: The Rhinos were the surprise of the week in the CMFA, and Ronnie was their leader, racking up 147 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns, and adding another 12 receiving.

5. Latrell Jackson - RB - Darkhorse: Latrell Jackson beat the opposition into submission in week 1, carrying the ball a record 19 times for 144 yards. His 4 touchdowns tie Jafar Armstrong for the CMFA lead.
